As soon as i took over, in 2012, i started the transformation of the terroir. I wanted to go back to the traditions and be accordance width nature.

Grisette and Titus to reduce our carbon footprint,

Using two Percheron horses, “Grisette and Titus” to plow the ground reduced the carbon foot-print tremendously.

1. Our philosophy

Our philosophy is to continue to develop your expertise with the greatest respect for the envirionment. In a period when the desire for a return to the land and our origins,we strive to safeguard our vineyard in the order to bequeath to future generations a healthy heritage : may it be in the treatment of the ground and th vine.

2. Respect

During the winter we let the vine cover it self naturally with grass and flowers. In early spring the grass is crushed and buried, with the hard work of the horses, which results in a natural fertilizer.

We are currently working on having sheep, graze the grass during the winter time, to produce ou own natural fertilizer.

3. Tradition

Rocques is the story of the family, tradition, passion and love. We are very proud to be part of the  “vigneron independant”. We invite you to discover our wines which are fruit of work in the vineyard that fully respects nature and the vineyard. We harvest under the sun to sharee with you a little bit of our passion and region.

4. Our Wines

The hamlet of “Rocques” and vinyards, rests on a limestone blade and argyle where a quarry was set in late 1800 early 1900. Should anyone visit Rocques will be able to see that the old family. “Mas” and homes stairs have been cut in the limestone. We are taking great pride to the process of our winery.

The story of a family, of tradition, of passion.
